Thin Air

by Never URs   Jul 7, 2007

You tangle me with your eyes,
deeper and deeper,
I cry.

Into the night we ride away,
no sun.

We travel off into the distance,
no one for miles around.
alone.

The darkness takes us in,
wraps us in his blanket of mystery,
no light.

The walk to where we say we're going,
is forever.

You don't understand,
yet have no questions or answers,
interpret.

We settle down and calm our brains,
clueless to what is going on inside,
our minds.

The wanting and the waiting make it hard,
harder and harder to meditate upon what is right,
close my eyes.

I see the distance,
and die.

The look beyond and what is true,
no longer is what it seems.
only lies.

The suns tentacles wrap around fallen creatures,
enlighten.

speechless

You're heart
soul
mind
dwell
in thin air

thin air . . . .
