Little girl,please understand
that this broken ruby heart
can not heal,cannot be repaired

Understand
That old and new scars
cannot disappear
and can only be shared

Understand
thats darkness lurks
round every corner
spying on you
waiting to attack

Understand
that my world has fallen to pieces
my eyes have turned to black
can't you see?

Understand
that shadows may look scary
but deep down
they should not be feared

Understand
that smiles
don't always
tell the truth

Understand
that never can you stop the pain
even if you wish to
even if you try your best
it wont ever go away

Understand
I'm not part of your life anymore

Understand
I'm dead...

    Understand that smiles dont always tell the truth.I love that part of youre poem.very sad but very real.keep writing girl.it helps.love beccy.
