I remember when

by Jennifer RIP Lesthat Hayden   Jul 10, 2007

Your symmetrical smile reminds me of that fun house place we went to.
With all of the confusing mirrors I couldn't believe we found our way through.
The sparkle in your eyes reminds of the time we were in the car.
We went in there just to drive though we didn't drive far.
We gazed up at the hole punched darkness admiring the painted sky.
It reminds me of that walk we had with your gentle sigh.
We walked upon the green grass with the toads croaking goodnight.
We danced to the crickets music under the moonlight.
Your salty tears remind me of the beach we went to that morning.
We ran across the seashore without giving the sand a warning.
Your hair reminds me of the golden fields where we lied.
Our laugher rose our moods so much gravity was defied.
It reminds me of the yellow flowers we found near the stream.
We listened to the trickling water as if it were a dream.
We were quiet like the trees and your bright smile was like the sun.
We walked along the water as the stream continued to run.
The clouds that day were white like the dress you were wearing.
Despite the color you lied down in the grass not even caring.
Your singing voice reminds me of that beautiful bird; the lark.
I remember hearing birds when we were in the park.
We were on the swings that day feeling the fragrant air.
We spoke of secrets that day and telling I wouldn't dare.
You are wonderful and brilliant and I can not deny that if it was either me or you for you I'd choose to die.
