Life Poem

I sing songs about my broken heart
And write lyrics about my life torn apart
You don't understand how I feel
Or the pain that is so real
You judge me and you don't no me
Does anyone even know the real me
My thoughts and my ideas build up inside
Nobody cares so I just leave them to hide
In an unwritten book of my life lies
And I turn the page softly and hear the inner cries
I look at the pictures of a happy place
These scars I hold cannot be erased
Oh how I long to be carefree
Oh how I long to just be me
And people not judge me for what I wear
And people not judge me about my hair
And people not judge me for the way I look
And I close the pages of the broken book
And cry softly as I look in the mirror
What I see is oh so clear
A broken girl torn apart
A broke girl with a broken heart
And you really want to know what makes me this way
I don't know what to say
But everyone has made me this way....
