Football Players and Crack w h o r e s

I swing the door open,
The blood stains my shirt,
'S h i t.' is all I say,
As my eyes fill with hurt,

The ringing in my ears,
Is just the telephone,
My dull expression,
Is not being alone,

I watch them clean the mess,
As I pretend to cry,
The camera is still a river,
Of crocodile lies,

Her hand swings left,
And I turn right,
Content with her,
Out of my sight,

Still watching me,
My muscle quivers,
As I watch her fall,
Her hell delivers,

'In peace her rest,'
I say unmoved,
'Goodbye dear love.'
Til I approved,

I pass the ball,
They pass the plate,
Unpaid actions,
Her soul belate,

I killed my wife,
I shot my kids,
I took the drugs,
I offered bids,

S l u t s on my torso,
Claw at my skin,
Never do I give a damn,
And never do I sin.

Well you have touched a point which i cannot totaly agree with, what makes you think that?
maybe you know a player like that so it doesnt mean all of them, i think you are mistakely accusing all rather than pointing out one. not all fingers are the same....

as far as the poem goes, i like it, i liked the style also.

This is really quite an interesting piece I loved the idea behind it. Really capturing. I found it to speak so much truth behind each word. I loved the flow it was perfect and the explict words gave this an extra something showing the emotions of angry which were portrayed pretty deeply. The word choice simple yet effective. To me some parts are a little cliche as your already aware but you added a twist to them so it gave this poem something else taking away anything that seemed quite cliche to this. Well done on writing such an amazing piece. Keep up the good work~mel

This si about how sport stars get away with murder (cliche) but we get away with nothing. If their name is in lights then thats all they see. Not the bloody hands on a knife. Not the f u c k i n g cocaine under the nose or the injections of steroids to hold their fame.
