Lying Here...

by Cassandra   Jul 14, 2007

The darkness is everywhere...
Lying here silently
I'll wait forever
For the light to call me

I died long ago
With only one wish
To give up my life
In exchange for this

This place is so pointless
But what can I say?
I'd rather be here
Than live another day

To keep my eyes closed
And not take a breath
Lying there motionless
Content in death

I cannot suffer
Or smile any more
But it doesn't matter
I don't need to soar

Lying here in darkness
With thoughts that are not mine
Never will I walk again
But we all know, that's fine...

I thought that was very touching. I like the way you aren't afraid to exspress the way you feel. I cna't believe you just started yesterday.
