Angels Like Him

Angels like him
don't drift my way often,
seeming to stay distant for no reason.

But one has stayed the journey.
A long road filled with many ups and downs.
Still he shines in front of me, lighting up my shadowed way.

Offering support around every corner,
taking my hand at any moment,
guiding me through my worries.

God has taken extra time with him.
Glowing face with honey hazel eyes.
Nurturing love placed deep within.

A gift sent from heaven,
I know this without a doubt.
A blessing I do not fully deserve.

Angels like him,
don't drift my way often,
yet here he still is,
loving me beyond comprehension.

    Aw this is such a sweet poem. it reminds me of mine called "Two Souls Become One". anyway it was so amazing and its a wonderful thing when you can find the one person who makes you feel whole. Very cute work.
