The Harvest

by ryan   Jul 17, 2007

Black moon rises up tonight
Someone will die of fright
Someone will be pulled down under
Because tonight is Harvest Night

Guilty souls are being embraced
Pictures from portraits are slowly erased
Dark ink starts to pour from the sky
Voices pleading not to be chased

The foulest stench lurk the atmosphere
Holy water suddenly turns to beer
The Earth opens its mouth and bares its teeth
Releasing every bit of hatred and fear

Faces of people are slowly fading
The pattern of life is rapidly changing
Sin is vanishing, Death is lingering
The Harvest is over, the Judgment is coming...

Wow, great poem, pretty un-nerving but gives great atmosphere.
