Has anyone seen it
Where did it go
For it was just here
A moment ago

I think it got away
Ran as far as it could
Or stolen by someone
To use it for more good

I miss it
For it was all that was mine
The one and only thing
That did not age with time

It made my days feel longer
And filled my nights with dreams
It kept me stronger
It was my golden wings

For now that I have lost it
I can not even sleep
For there is no more smiles
On my counting sheep.......
