A new disease

by Aure   Jul 21, 2007

Regardless of the signs
that were supposed to lead you here
you blindly turned away
by some sort of wicked twist of faith

Now your face in front of me
I wish to scream and shout it out
laying on the deserted ground
thrown in front of your feet

This disease is without a proper cure
The illness of eternal loneliness had struck
And I'm begging for you to heal me
But you're still too blind to see

You took my hand and looked at me
saying you're a great friend to me
tried to smile and whispered so are you
And I died inside when we hugged goodbye

Unknowing of what I'm supposed to do
to make you realize or believe
in the way I believe and feel for you
Why can't you take this pain away

I'm searching for the answers
but all I found were more questions
you're still such a little child
and I'm still coldly left behind

Needing for this winter to end
with your summer this heart will be mend
