Looking at you lying there
the quilt has slipped leaving you shoulder bare
your dreaming sighs as you turn in your sleep
looking at you peaceful this moment i want to keep
your silky smooth skin is cool upon mine
and along your back i trace a line
with a finger as soft as the morning dew
thinking all the while how much i love you
