Remember This Date

by Dr of Bishonomics   Nov 9, 2007

Good morning ladies and gents it's a brand new day
And I've woken up with something to say
Got a new air about me, things are going to go my way
No restrictions to hold me back
And I've made some changes so I'm back on track
Had to break up with my girlfriend to achieve this
She's nice but has a different view of bliss
I can't stay in one place it just ain't me
Not when there's a whole world out there for me to see
But it all serves to the experience of life
And with each passing day i learn how to deal with strife
Can't say I'm perfect but I remember what I learn
And apply that knowledge so I don't crash and burn
So see me out and join in the fun
And we ain't leaving till i see the rising sun
No doubt things will get a bit retarded
And the state we're in, like a scene from rhubarb and custard
But hey who cares, who gives a damn
We'll laugh in the face of authority and the Man
My world tour starts here i cant wait
And I will achieve greatness so remember this date

    Hey you:)
This great, i love this, i think very different from your other pieces. Its got a positive spin on it.
I really liked the end, made me sit up and take notice.
I do think this is one if your best pieces.

Good morning ladies and gents it's a brand new day

the conjuction is missing after the word gent

the word "i" should be I at places that have been missed

    I loved the poem
    Definitely loved it
cos of the fact that it coincides with my inner thoughts about the bigger meaning of life and moving on after making some hard decisions
5/5 cos of the feel though it has some structural deformities but hey its nothing in front of a good poem

I suggest you to wotk on this topic and GIVE ME MOre

    take care,
    Roxiee
