That girl is me

by Emily   Jul 26, 2007

There is a sad little girl
She sits alone in the bathroom
each and every night
after every meal
Putting her finger down her throat
Making herself sicker and sicker
No one thinks that this is the real deal
Everyone shrugs it off
Her friends, her family.
No one cares about her
Or at least that's how she feels
The poor girl, will never know what is real
Can you help her
She's dying to get out
She keeps herself a secret
She just wants to be free
She's the one who's innocence was taken from her
far too young
Who learned to deal with pain
when she was only seven.
No girl knows how to survive this
That boy used to call her a princess
She trusted that boy with all her heart
She loved him from the very start
She must learn to move on
But she could never do that
Not with all the pain that he put her through
Not with everything that has happenned
Well, the sad little girl
who deals with all of this,
The one who wants to fly free
That little girl is me
