Choice

We are frightened by what we cannot see
we believe in things
that we can only see

We do not believe
if we can only hear
or even just feel

We have to see things
before we believe in them
Why is this?

Is it because it is proof?
Or is it because we are scared?
Or maybe its because we can't?

Does being able to see something
make it real
Is this what we need to believe?

Are we scared to believe
in things that we cannot see
Why are we scared?

Do we need to see to believe?
Is this what we need?
If so why?

We believe in the simplest things
as the more complex
are those we cannot see

Things pass us by
because we dare not to believe
in anything we cannot see

Well, my advice to you is to believe,
not just in the simple things but even the more complex
and even in those we cannot see

Listen to my advice and it will take you far
don't listen and you will get nowhere
It's your choice.
