I've Been Thinking About You

I know we haven't talked in a while,
But I've been thinking about you lately.
A part of me wishes we were still together,
Another part is glad we're not.

You were always so sweet to me,
But you played with my heart.
I really did think that I loved you,
I thought we were meant to be.

You broke my heart into so many pieces
And it seems like you don't even care,
I've tried to talk to you about what happened,
But you wont even pick up your phone.

Maybe I never meant anything to you,
I was probably just a girl by your side,
Someone to take someone else's place,
Someone you never cared about.

    Oh wow. Great poem. It can so relate to anyone and everyone. The flow was really good and great use of words. SO much emotion in this. Well done on this piece!

    Omg, did you read my diary?? Lol, I'm going through this right now, well besides the third stanza.

    This poem was wonderfully written. Great choice of words. I can see from the above posts that many people can relate to this and I sure can. The flow in this is flawless and it's well put together.
