I can feel you sitting next to me
you wouldn't believe how hard it is
to sit and not reach out to you
to keep from telling you...never mind

we've known each other
since the day we were born
your practically my brother
but i love you more than that

the silence is ominous
as i restrain from telling you
just how much i do love you
it makes me wonder....

could we ever be?
could there be a you and me?
could we last forever?
could we be together?
