The Sea

I'm a man of the sea
and all that reside
in her deep blue waters
and pools of tide

The sea is truly
a work of art
It represents
the end and start

It shows great emotions
of love and hate
It has been revered
and still to this date

It is the spawn of Satan
and a child of God
Holding sharks in a swarm
and whales in a pod

The sea's still a mystery
that will remain for all time
It can be raging and stormy
Or calm and sublime

It is a great beauty
So hold it dear
For without it
The end would come near

    This piece was also quite good, you pulled off a nature poem really well and it ended up to be an enjoyable read. I liked the flow it was great. Nature to me is hard to write about and actually make it good but if you do it then you have talent and this you did. A great effort. ~mel
