Silent Night

by SweetDreamz   Aug 4, 2007

Silence bears a voice
That screams with the absence of light
The clock ticks so loudly
In the dead of night

Ticks like a heart beat
But this is a false embrace
The only heart is my own
The clock, the only face.

Now I remember
The scars you left for me
The silence brings it back
And the darkness lets me see

I remember Where they are too
Just on this wrist
I remember the blade,
The last time we kissed

The warm sun makes it so
I cannot feel you
But these lonely walls
Make me see whats true

Now I feel it burning
Just beneath the skin
Can you feel it too?
Screaming within

Your smile is in this darkness
Your eyes still remain
Your voice pulses
A melody right through my vein

It sings our only song
That will always stay
Regrets hold our past
That can never fade away.
