Used to be

by Pauly D.   Apr 27, 2004

When ignorance was abound,
When it didn't really matter.
It was simple, that I found.
It was alwaysso much better.

Filled with anticipation,never treated dry.
It was so much nicer than, I sometimes wonder why.
But, what happens now, all filled with lies.
There is no justice, No matter how hard I try.

They used To be filled with love,
And that's what life was all about.
Now they couldn't care less,
They want to drive me out.

They assume that once your older,
Your feelings are gone away.
They don't care what you told her,
They'll never let you stay.

They're always on a mission
To out and destroy your life.
They couldn't care less what you think.
They don't know what it's like.

If they truly cared, they would be understanding.
But, instead they're on a tear,
Not considering what your seeing.

I can't wait till I'm free
So they can just let me be.
Maybe then they'll see
The wrong way they treated me.
