I cry myself to sleep at night listening to the wind
He asks me why
I have no answer

I sit in darkness thinking about nothing and speaking to no one

I tell him that he means the world to me but, I cannot be with him

How can I tell him that I am not the person I portray
How can I tell him that I am not worthy of such wonderful love

I tell him that I like to be alone with my thoughts
