My life the way I want

I wake up
the sun shining on my face
I look around the room
and think this is where I belong

For now
I belong in this home
But I know
that soon I will move on

I will move away someday
to follow my dreams
and ambitions
to live my own life

I will live for me
and what I want
I will not change
no matter what people think

I will always be me
and people will accept that
otherwise they will have no part in my life
and they will be left behind
