What today may bring

The sun shines
high in the sky
twinkling with beauty
It is a nice day today
and I want to enjoy it
I wish you were here with me

I sit up in my bed
looking out the window
the morning is a beautiful one
and I slowly get out of bed

Today I am not tired
I am not worried
and I am not nervous
I say bring it on
I am ready
for what today may bring
