White Dawg

I sit late at night,
Listening to his songs,
Never knew him,
But I fell in love with his voice.

He understands my pain,
His singing does it all,
The tears start to flow,
And I crawl back into my past.

I used to overlook the flaws,
Stumped because I never found what was wrong,
But now the things all become clear,
I finally see the cracks.

The cracks of a girl,
Who once was lost,
A girl who,
Never found a way out.

But now I'm a girl,
Who lives through his songs,
Making it one day at a time,
Still in love with his voice.

This is about a rapper who I just absolutely fell in love with because of his songs.

They have a lot of meaning.
