He was like a brother
Her very best friend
Nothing came between them
There friendship could never end
She loved him for him
She knew that he loved her back
But that friend was so much more
And she knew it for a fact
He grew to be a lover
But to him she was nothing more
She tried to tell him
But he walked out the door
Friends forever he promised
Forever best mates
She needed him to be there
There friendship was fate
