What if...

You know I hate to think of the potential you have, because in a second you could have her back
You could break my heart and laugh
she is still in the palm of your hands as i speak today
and in a simple request she could be in your arms as well
I am scared to loose her because she holds it all
i mean what if the catcher sits back and WATCHES me fall
i couldn't take the pain she took and walked away
because if i did i would be gone to stay
Maybe it was a mistake to hand her my whole heart when she didn't have the same to trade
its like into a ocean of confusion I am starting to wade
I feel so vulnerable like she could get whatever she wanted
she could leave and every picture i held would still hold the name of "haunted"
Im just worried maybe over nothing, i mean maybe we are forever
but it just kills to think what if all of a sudden the ties are severed?
just a thought or maybe two just thinking of what you could do
just hoping you would never... want back those baby blues
But the question lies so deep inside
does she want you back?
i guess time will tell, and whatever it takes I lack..
