Boy and Girl

Boy met girl
-fell madly in love
Girl liked boy
-they fit like a glove

But girl only liked boy
as a friend, nothing more
Girl never realized
Whom the boy's heart was for

Boy was stupid
he hoped for love
He hoped girl would like him
even more than enough

But that didn't work out
Everything changed
everything became weird,
Awkward and strange

Boy's heart was broken
he cried every night
Girl didn't know
She thought it was alright

Eventually Boy grew tired
of laugh-less days and nights
He realized she's not worth it
Every torn emotion- he fights

Now Boy's over Girl
and he will never go back
Boy found a new Girl
a Girl that loves him back

This is the pointless story
of the Girl and the Boy
A story that meant nothing
Nothing but a futile ploy
