Pulling out the photos of you
Knowing I can't hold you again
Reading all the letters we wrote
Though it worsens the pain

Writing this poem for you
Tears dripping on the page
Ripping my own heart apart
'Cause I pushed you away

Wondering if I made a mistake
But I know it was the right thing
Reminiscing on what we were
...'Cause we can't be that again
