I can see you.

I can see you,
Going about you daily tasks.
But suddenly you stop,
Unconsciously removing your masks.

I can see the tears fall down your face,
As you fall towards the floor.
I can see you look at a photograph,
Then watch you cry some more.

I can feel your tears upon my skin,
And taste their bitterness on my lips.
I can hear your broken cries,
And feel your heart break into bits.

Suddenly I feel so hopeless,
Because I did this to you.
I sit here watching you break apart,
Not knowing what to do.

If only I hadn't been so greedy,
By taking my own life away.
You wouldn't want someone to hold you,
While you fell apart this way.

I decided to leave you alone to cry,
Because it's the best thing to do.
I'll come back another day,
Just to sit and watch you.
