Away from this..

In another lifetime I would wish,

to find a place away from this,

Somewhere to rest my weary eyes,

away from this so dark disguise.

I pray for strength to be reborn,

to come out new and now wind torn,

in another lifetime suddenly sweet,

where my soul don't weep

and my heart don't bleed.

I've bound myself too many times,

I've felt so lonely in my crime,

but when the night comes sneaking up on us,

again we rush to sudden lust.

I yearn to find different place,

where I can lean upon a friendly face,

To run and never once look back,

on why all this seems cold and black.

A darkness whispers through the rain,

I start to run away the pain,

in another lifetime I would wish,

to find a place away from this..
