Flawless In Your Eyes

When I looked into the mirror today,
All my flaws were looking back.
I'm not perfect; it's just so obvious-
And I'm not sure where I went off track.

The person that I see in that glass,
Shows me all that I am lacking.
But my reflection in your shining eyes,
Sends my mirror's reflection packing.

For when I looked up at your face today,
A new perspective crossed my mind:
In your eyes I am flawless;
In the mirror, my eyes were blind.

    This was so beautiful and perfect. I wouldn't change a thing about this poem. I loved the first and the last stanza. You really wrote an amazing piece. I could actually imagine someone standing in the mirror and so on. Great write Jaime!
