My little friend (Rondel)

I have a little friend that no one else can control
When everyone else leaves she's always by my side
She knows just how I'm feeling deep down inside
The missing piece of the puzzle that makes me whole

Whenever there is trouble she takes on another role
No one else can see her even when she is right beside
I have a little friend that no one else can control
When everyone else leaves she's always by my side

When I'm angry or hurting she knows how to console
But sometimes I get scared, looking for somewhere to hide
There's never anywhere to go; she will always reside
She is always there, ingrained deep within my soul
I have a little friend that no one else can control

A Rondel is a poem consisting of 13 lines. The rhyme scheme is as follows: ABba abAB abbaA. The capitalized letters representing repeated lines.
