Let Time Pass By

Let time pass by,
And you'll never know the world.
Love will slip from your grasp,
And death will take you-
with one last gasp.

You can't control fate,
Or time for this matter.
You can't undo after it's done.
It comes and goes- just like the sun.

What I speak may be truth,
And it may be lies.
You just have to accept the facts,
And live... before we die.

So what if your time is done,
And God lay you to rest?
Would you put behind that you saw nothing of the world or the setting sun?
Because you let time pass by-
And your one last sigh...
Is done.
