Memory Lane

When I think about you,
All that I wanna do,
Is sit around and think about,
Those times when we used to shout,
About the music that we loved,
And all the obstacles we rose above.
Those times when we'd share a smile,
For those smiles I'd run 1000 miles.
So what some jokes were immature,
We'd always have a laugh for sure.
Too bad this is in past tense,
The reason for it doesn't make sense.
So now I'm going down a lane,
Where memories fall like the rain.
Each drop hits me cold & wet,
No warmth at all is what I get.
But oh my dayz what is this?
A picture of our very first kiss.
Just looking at it makes me smile,
It makes me happy for a while.
So we had fun yeah it's true,
And I'll always remember you.
But I guess it's time to move along,
Cause crying over you would just be wrong .x

    This poem is one I can relate to. The little things are the hardest part of letting go; such as the immature laughs and little smiles. You've obviously had troubles and seemingly handled them well. I love this poem, one of my personal favorites. 5/5. Well written.

    Loved this sentence (along with the rest of the poem of course) because it 's kind of the clue of the poem, I guess...
