Flip Flop Banana Whip Pop

You like bananas, more then one would think
unfortunately i think they stink

add one in to a smoothie you always do
why are bananas yellow, not blue?

my flip flops manage the yellow tone
yet one bite of banana and i start to moan

many helpful tricks this sunny friend emits
i wish it's taste wouldn't send me into fits

cures upon cures the banana does hold
to those who like it, good things will unfold

some say an apple a day keeps the doctor away
thankfully it's not that putrid banana that makes me sway

he likes bananas more then i ever will
i really don't like them, I'd rather take the pill

yellow is the glowing hue
which i have to admit i admire just as much as Peru

i would gladly slip on those canary yellow flips flops
then drink one of those revolting banana whip pops.
