In the Blink of an Eye

There's no angst and no anger,
No sorrow, no strife.
For when you're near me,
I feel full of life.

It feels like flying;
Like the world is mine to possess.
There are no feelings,
That I need to repress.

Talking comes easily;
I know just what to say.
And I wait for the moment;
For that one special day.

My other half is what you are;
I can climb up mountains when you're nearby.
