We were both falling, our love spiraling out of control.
Felt like it was over, but yet still holding on.
We had no idea what was happening, not yet done.

Missing you so much, needing you here with me.
Got accustomed to always seeing you, never alone.
The pain cut so deep, heartache indescribable.

Almost lost a love we worked so hard to get;
Even at our worst, we managed to save one another.
Back at our best now, our hard work finally payed off.

May have our troubles, our ups and downs.
