Never Ending Cycle

by lisa marie   Apr 30, 2004

Have you ever thought twice about life?
About your character or thoughts?
Have you ever thought about your future?
About your future husband or wife?

Ever wonder what it'd be like to run from a killer?
Ever wanted to be someone else?
Changed yourself, made new friends.
Feared the midnight chiller

Have you ever had a heartbreak
An adrenaline rush
Lines of excitement...
Have you ever thought that you were fake

Have you ever experienced love?
Maybe a little of death?
Hard times and feeling low
Not being thought of?

Maybe you've witnessed confusion
Couldn't make an important decision
Tried and thought until stress came in
Messed up and went the wrong way?

Feelings of regret comes for a visit?
Feeling more and more worthless.
Everything is fading.
Depression takes over happiness

Have you ever cried all night for no reason
Had nothing to live for
Felt like dying
Didn't care what day or season?

Or do you hold it in deep inside
Ignore it and feel it build every hour?
Acting like your fine
But really wishing you could've died

Are you ever frustrated or irritated
Wishing killing was legal everyday
Making lists of people who should die?
Then something hits you and you start to cry

At that moment you realize yourself and everything around
Its not the world or people or what they do
Its not your family, friends, schoolwork or lovers
It's simply you.

You find a way to change it around
But the same thing happens over again
Nothings getting better, just getting worse
Its a cycle, its never ending
