The maiden and the troubadour

by Ocean Soul   Sep 4, 2007

Sweet moonlight touches my face
It reminds me the one gone away
Nightingales sing their melancholy
Through the night of the lonely

Saddened night, emptied sky
I walk alone tonight
No more you no more me
No more hands caressing me

My lover's gone oceans away
I miss his songs, his serenades
Oh my troubadour where are you?
Your maiden is here waiting for you

Take the loneliness away from here
The music of the forest, sing again to me
Come to my window tonight play to me
String my feelings, make love to me

Come to me my troubadour
Under moonlight I lie nude
Kiss me, drink my wine
Take me to the stars tonight
