Bit of luck

As I sit here and think
nothing comes to mind
it's hard to admit to myself
there is really nothing left
my mind is purely blocked
all I hear is the sound of the clock
it's getting harder everyday
to sit and write what I want to say
but one can't stop or give up
just because they have a bit of bad luck
I'll keep trying and maybe it'll come back
just have to get my mind on the right track
as long as I have a hand to hold a pen

    I love it, i think its such a simple way of explaining something that really isnt simple. Sometimes i can sit for hours with a pen, my mind racing, desperate to get things down onto paper and yet, it just doesnt seem to work. Excellent poem.

    I like the ending very much, you put your self in to this piece and also it is simply beautiful. Very emotional poem, you created some special and great tone. I love it, it absolutely deserves 5/5
