Something Like That

by Jemma   Sep 9, 2007

Within the midst of silver rising tide
Shooting forth from the geysers below
An astral kiss of moonlight sensation
Shadows amongst the mist

Enveloped as we wade in starlit waves
Kneeling in the shallows
A great facade at the feet of a stranger
A non-existent hero, set to lift us from the sands

Shelter in the beams that have burnt a weary heart
As the thoughts that echo thunder
In the whispers of one word
It shimmers in the distance

Something like that is writing in the air
It's writhing in the storm lit sky
The substance gleaming in the heavy clouds up high
Something like love is behind us

Something like that
Prostrated at our souls
Something like that
