One-hand feel on the steering wheel the other on my heart

by Behind Blue Eyes   Sep 11, 2007

Let's take a drive/And venture one city over
Or to a place/Mysterious and unknown.
You take the keys/ And grip the steering wheel
I'll fill the void in your heart/ And make you feel alive
And while you hold my hand/ Driving 80 down the interstate
My mind will wander off/ To thoughts I shouldn't think.
And I'll consider whether/ My feelings towards you are real.
I decide that love isn't so great/ When you're blinded to one's faults.
I'll uncover my eyes/ And see you for what you truly are.
Yes, love is blind/ And friendship closes it's eyes
But when unseen traits/ Have lead you to pain once before
You learn from your mistakes/ And try to never repeat them.
So you're not ready for commitment/ I'll admit, that's fine with me.
I'm just a passenger in your car/ Along for the ride.
So just put your sunglasses back on/ Keep your eyes on the road
And decide whether/ My company is really worth it.
There's a gas station up ahead/ Just a few more miles.
You can either drop me off there/ Or keep driving with me forever.

[don't really know where i was going with this... or how i even came to put it together... but yea. i dont know.]

I like it.. lol I feel like I'm the driver though :P I've driven alot of girls around all day sometimes. We went on dates and stuff but the relationship was based on how long we'd drive together :P kinda dumb but. It was fun.
    ( Lots of money haha :P )
She/They paid for some ;) lol
    Anyways I'd give it a 5/5
There was a time when I just had to drop her off at the gas station. The relationship cost too much. haha jk :P it was just not working I guess.
