Ignored, beaten and bruised

They argue back in forth while their little girl crys
they'll yell loud and violent things while each tear falls from her eyes
how much their hurting her i guess they'll never know
each and every memory will stay with her as she continues to grow
this little girl is now 16 and she swears she's in love
yet every time he hits every she begs for help from someone above
this is what she knows no better can she get
in her depressed and low self-esteemed mind this is forever it
beaten and abused her entire life
she takes out her anger on her wrist with a knife
of course she deserves better and yes her mind state could still change
but it wont and she'll die with the words ignored, beaten, and bruised to her name.....

    Oh my god what a awesome heart felt write. very very sad. i shall keep the person that is written for in my prayers. as far as your writing the word choice and rhyme were outstanding. work on your structure. i wish you all the best ben thompson. p.s keep writing you have an ability and you may become very good.

    Beautiful, really it is, its such a sad poem, so full of pain and sadness.
