I used to love to snort coke,
I would snort it until I choked.
I used to love to chug beers.
In hope that it chase away my fears.

I used to love to smoke weed.
It was an every day need.
I used to love to pop so many pills,
In hope that me was the one they killed.

But I don't need that stuff anymore,
To fight that old internal war.
I now have Him on my side,
And my feelings I don't hide
