Rainman.

by ghosts in bloom   Sep 18, 2007

He opens his eyes
Without optical counterpart.
Starflakes dance inside iris,
Spurning the stale gray cactus.
He washes and renews me
With invisible sweet salt
Every time he blinks.
Zip and unzip;
Feed to grow;
Nourished salutations.
I hear my soul
In his malapropos drizzle;
Calling me with glistening
And resplendent mystery
To dance with soil soaked feet.
An old dimension c'lapses
With omnipresent contentment.
I drink it all.
He is fervor.
The true panacea.

    Quite a different piece. I liked it alot though I must say.. Really deep and held such strong emotions. The imagery portrayed was great and your word choice I must say really powerful. An interesting poem which didn't lose its flow at all throughout the entire thing. Well done keep writing. ~Mel
