Goodbye dear friend
Your flesh now cold
Your breath has left you
Now I'm alone

Sixteen long years,
I've known your face
How can I live?
Why did you leave me?

Your spirit soars,
Over empty plains
Memories of old
Are with you

Your heart still lives
Your soul with mine
Thoughts intertwined
Feelings bashed

I love you,
I miss you,
Please find a way
To make me smile

*This probably doesn't make any sense, but I wrote it after my great-grandma died.
