Life keep going

Everyone keeps asking me if I am alright,
They think that I shouldve at least tried to fight.
For people who never liked him from the start,
They act like I should walk around with a broken heart.
Its not like he wasnt important to me,
I just understand that were not meant to be.
For so long him and I were all I ever knew
But now that were over I have a different view.
I learnt so much from him over the years
And the memories Ill cherish both of smiles and of tears.
The only thing I want is for us to remain friends.
