I look at this picture
This beautiful face
I'm starting to cry
What a disgrace

I look up to the sky
Crying to the stars
Why have you deserved to die
Leaving my heart full of scars

All these memories of happiness
Of this friendly and pretty girl
The one who filled my emptiness
The one who killed my loneliness
But joy of life soon has left her
This beautiful girl destroyed by cancer

A year of sorrow
Fighting for the next tomorrow
But after the sun
The sky turns to night
The disease has won
You lost the fight

The day you died
So did I
You left this world and took me with you
Now all what's left is hurt
There will never be more, without you...

So I'm standing right here
In front of your grave
Holding this souvenir
Starting to crave:

Sandra, my sweetest friend
God took you away from me
A mistake that he can never mend
Now I hope you're waiting for me

The sunshine has fell
Good bye my dear friend
Sandra sleep well
cause this night will never end...

    I think you did a wonderful job of writing such a nice piece about such a sad state of affairs.

    I feel you on this one :( Except my best friend died as he was hit by a car. I'm sorry, thats all there really is to say.. because they're in a better place now. Waiting for us. For the best, try to be happy for them... even though it's painful for us. 5/5
