Last words

She's lying there in bed
scars painting her head
staring into the sky
so afraid that she has to die

surrounded by her mum and dad
the look in their faces so unbelievable sad
afraid of loosing all they've got
to send their little girl to god

a sound of footsteps on the floor
then somebody opens the door
the doctors enter the room
with bad news...the parents assume

they're staring in the eyes
of this young and pretty girl
the doctors so desperate
soon the girl will leave this world

the painkillers fade
the doctors could not evade
she's crying from pain
the cancer has poisoned her brain

she's begging her parents
please don't leave
there's so much hurt
I cannot breath

now they're holding their daughter
crying to heaven
please god...please help her

but it was too late
no one's there to beware from her fate

she took the air to take the last breath
she cried a last tear and embraced the death
