Looking upon the river
Watching the rapids take over
Tears rippling down her cheeks.

Watching the sun set
Orange and red over come
As she re-enacts the play.

Feeling the crystal water
As they race down the rapids
Water splashes against them.

Their eyes meet for a moment
While they step upon the river
Jumping from the raft.

Tears rippling down her cheeks
She looks upon the horizon
And curses the day back when...
