Mindless Confusion

by Shealee   Oct 7, 2007

Look at this alone at last.
Feeling less alone with every
thought that pops into the mind.
The mind sees more than it can
understand, feel, r care about.
And she feels confusion,
her heart breaking and skipping beats.
She sees the colors of the leaves
change as it turns into fall.
She understands little about what
might happened with the life ahead.
The thought keeps rendering itself.
Never seems to surrender down and
giver her a break.
Clearing her mind is out of
the scene, it's all an illusion
if she can forget it all.
What does she want to forget?
Her life, her love, her everything?
Mistakes follow her everywhere.
Always pined to her back.
Where it is hidden but never
far behind.
She needs to scream out loud
and be able to come a new.
With a new mind, heart, and
most of all, a new sense of life.
Breaking free of the old is
only thought of, never done.
Letting go and forgetting
is only a wish and
dream that only gypsies
can take care of.
Masked for ages her
heart takes beatings with
no armor and no sleep.
But it all comes down
to opening up your mind,
letting butterflies flutter
out of your chest and
into the world of
mindless confusion.
